MEU participated in the second nationwide clean-up campaign launched by the Ministry of Environment titled “With determination, we protect our environment”, which activates the self-monitoring and upholding of social responsibility towards the environment.
The minister of environment, Nabil Masarweh, stressed the importance of maintaining the environmental system, being the first thing tourists and expatriates see. He also explained that the order of Jordan in terms of cleanliness is good on the global level and excellent on the regional level.
For his part, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al-Fayez thanked the students who participating in the clean-up campaign of the Al-Mushatta Palace and the road leading up to Mount Nebo. He also said that the ministry is fully disposed to support the university’s campaigns on a continuous basis.
